  1. Q. –  Geographically speaking, Don, where does EZ House Buyers buy properties?
  • – EZ House Buyers is based in Houston, Texas, and we also have an office in Austin, Texas. We purchase property all over the state of Texas, with a focus on those markets, simply because Don_McClain_headshotwe know them best. However, we are able to assist a seller in just about any part of the country. The only type of situation that we may shy away from is a rural property with a large amount of acreage. That is simply because our time to resell may be long.
  1. Q. – Don, is there a high and low price point on the properties you look to acquire?
  • – Not really. We look at the overall marketability of the property, and the days on market for the comparables, or comps. As long as those make sense, and we can please our seller, we are happy to help. It just has to be a win/win for everyone, or it is not worth doing the deal.
  1. Q. – Tell us about on of your more interesting transactions.
  • – Like we say in the office, just when you think you have seen it all, you get something else new. In one of our more memorable situations, the sellers husband was incarcerated. We were happy to help her, but we needed the sellers’ husband to sign as well, since he was on record. We had to call the prison where her was and get his verbal affidavit to close the the deal. We got it done, but it sure interesting.
  1. Q. – Don, what do you see the long term future looking like for EZ House Buyers?
  • – The house buying industry is very fragmented in the United States. There are very few recognizable brands that are in multiple markets. We plan on rolling out our brand Nationwide and partnering with home buyers in markets across the country. By building a brand that is recognizable in multiple markets, it will build trust in the community and allow us to help sellers faster, since they are familiar with the brand.
  1. Q. – Don, what is one thing you can tell a seller who may be concerned over the particular situation with their property?
  • – I would say that no matter the situation, we can help. Just give us a call and let us work on a solution for you. There literally nothing that cannot be overcome. We just have to work  on it.
